Today my 8th graders finally finished their own stop motion pictures! Weeks of making pictures and trying to get to the computer class finally paid off!
Classical mistakes like moving the camera, dropping things that shouldn't have been dropped, text going too fast and with spelling mistakes and more, ... BUT they had fun and learned a lot about the animation movie!

I came upon your teaching blog from looking at your zentangles...as you are in the early stages of your career as an art teacher, I am in the early stages of ending my career! I have been retired since 2002 after teaching 7 & 8 graders for 32 years!! I loved every minute of it as I am sure you will...and now I am loving doing my own "thing"! Thank you for this blog...I will love looking in on what you are doing periodically if that is OK with you!
