Searching how they can come close to different textures using mixed media can be quite exciting for the kids!
9 squares of 2x2 inches are drawn. The children brought pictures or little objects with very different textures.
Trying different media they dive in the adventure of coming as close to resembling the textures as they can.
Pencil, colored pencil, watercolor and acrylic paint are used here. But other materials can work well too!
I wouldn't let them use crayons because the squares are quite small.
