Heart-shaped balloons in ink and watercolor

By Chelsey - grade 7
Our students made heart-shaped ballons last week.  It was the first time ever they had to use ink.  Filling the shapes with patterns was fun and using watercolor to ad some happiness made it a lovely project.

Next time we'll do this I'll let them paint first and then go over the shapes with ink - here we did it the other way around and I really think using the water color first would make it even better.

There is a little trick to draw good hearts and because there was a great clear picture on the Bee and Buzz blog.I didn't make one myself.

Fold - draw half a heart and cut out.
